Badi Yazdi was born and raised in Iran. He moved to the United States in 1978. He got married in 1984 to Shiva and has two children, Jennifer and Kevin. He obtained his Engineering Bachelor Science Degree in the United States, he is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Improvement Associate and is currently employed as a senior engineer with the Boeing Company in Southern California.

Badi started singing at the age of 10. A few years ago, in 1990, he discovered that he could make use of his talents by organizing and performing at Baha'i fundraisers.

In 1995, he completed an album inspired by the poem "Yá Bahá Madadi" by Mr. Houshmand Fateh Azam (a member of the Universal House of Justice).

All proceeds from the sales of this album were donated to the ARC building project in Haifa

Badi completed his second recording consist of 11 prayers chanted in Farsi in October of 2004 and is currently working on other recordings including "Flower of Love" composed by Mr. Firooz Mohtadi.

Badi's music performances schedule has included the Persian Arts and Cultural Conference in London and Chicago. Performed at fundraising events in Toronto Canada as well as such U.S. cities as Chicago, Seattle, Dallas, San Francisco, San Diego, Bosch Baha'i School, concerts at the the Grand Canyon Conference, Persian Festival of Fall "Mehregan" and many other non profit events in
Los Angeles.
